How to Apply

OPEN MIND DBA KMS ELEMENTARY PROGRAM: PREK - 5TH GRADE

1. Submit an Application

   • Now accepting applications for immediate openings and Fall 2024 enrollment.

2. Attend an Open House -- adults only.

3. Submit a Teacher Recommendation Form. The form should be emailed to kmsoffice@openmindsf.org as a PDF directly from the evaluating teacher or school.

   • Students applying into Pre-Kindergarten & Kindergarten

   • Students applying into 1st grade through 5th grade

4. Attend a Student Program Visit by invitation.

5. Admission decision notifications are sent in March for September enrollment.

KMS utilizes multi-aged level classrooms with individualized age-appropriate learning focused on project-based instruction which actively engages students in the learning experience. Our students love to learn!
