ABOUT KMS
We are in our 5th decade at the forefront of child-centered education, and we love what we do. In the heart of the Mission District, in a stunning multi-story Victorian with our own surrounding outdoor space including garden, maker shed, teaching kitchen, dance studio and more. We enter every day with joy and a spirit of exploration. We strive to learn deeply about ourselves, our community, and our world, and we explore these with each other in a spirit of co-creation, equity, and joyful inquiry. Our teachers are skilled, engaging, and passionate—they are experienced designers extraordinaire— and they also know that sometimes stepping back and getting out of the way is the best way to support learning.
